March 12 At 7pm on March 12th the Town of Shutesbury is holding a public hearing on the Planning Boards proposed new zoning bylaw at the Elementary School. As you may have heard, some landowners and snowmobilers / recreationists are very upset about the proposed downzoning of forest land from two to ten acre density. Theyre calling whats happening land use takings and have been advised by the states top land use attorney that whats being proposed is not legally defensible. Theyre pretty upset with our planning board and would appreciate our support. Please come out to the elementary school on March 12th to learn more about whats being proposed and support our landowner friends and neighbors. Thanks Date: Shutesbury Town Hall Time: 7 PM Date: Time: Landowner's Appreciation Dinner Help us with our First Annual Landowner's Appreciation Dinner, to be held at the Shutesbury Athletic Club. We are planning to have cocktails at 4PM, a spaghetti dinner at 5PM, and entertainment by the Hangmen starting at 7PM. Loanne Soos is Chairperson for this event. She will be looking for volunteers to help with several different tasks that night. Please contact Louanne if you are available to help out. We will be sending out invitations shortly. Tickets will be available to guests and friends for $10 per person, children under 14 free. Tickets will be sold at our next two meetings, or at the Shutesbury AC. Buy early and often!
