A Brief History of Our Club The Porcupine Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club was formed in 1999 by a small group of snowmobile enthusiasts to promote and enjoy the sport of snowmobiling. It has since grown to over one hundred members, including cross country skiers and others concerned with access to outdoor recreation. We maintain a trail network in the towns of Shutesbury, Leverett, Wendell, and New Salem. In doing so, we have built a working relationship with private landowners, state and local government agencies, and the communities in our area. We hope to continue to provide safe and enjoyable winter recreation to those who appreciate the natural beauty our area has to offer."
